Developer also announced a demo of the game for May 22

Developer Frictional Games announced last Friday (12) that it had to postpone Amnesia: The Bunker yet again, this time the game has been pushed back from May 23 to June 6.

According to the announcement, the postponement came after "unforeseen certification issues," so they needed to delay the arrival of their newest game so that the game is not released with these problems and they can deliver the best gameplay experience.

"The release of Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed by two weeks due to unexpected certification issues. This decision is crucial to ensure that we do not launch the game with these issues.

The additional time will allow us to fix the problem and ensure the best possible gameplay experience at launch. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Amnesia: The Bunker will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, PlayStation, and Xbox on June 6.

On a more positive note, we'll have a FREE DEMO coming to Steam on May 22, so mark the date!"

As informed in the post, the game receives a free demo on May 22 on Steam, so if you are eager to try this game and play on PC, don't miss this opportunity.

Recently, the developer released 10 minutes of gameplay from the title, showing a bit of what players can expect from this puzzle-filled horror game.

The game is set in World War I, where the player takes on the role of Henri Clement, a French soldier who has been deserted by his battalion and trapped inside an abandoned military bunker. However, he is not alone.

Amnesia: The Bunker arrives on June 6, 2023 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the same day of its release.
