Kuma returns with a salmon in hand to destroy enemies and pursue his love

Bandai Namco has revealed the gameplay trailer for Kuma in Tekken 8, showcasing gameplay scenes of this bear who, despite being slow, is very powerful.

Kuma arrives wearing clothes reminiscent of Heihachi Mishima, his master. In the trailer, we see some of his moves, which are powerful and short-range. We can also see him declaring his love to Panda, whom he is passionate about.

Kuma, or Kuma II, is the son of the first Kuma, who was introduced in the first Tekken but passed away between the second and third games in the franchise. Kuma II took over his father's role starting from Tekken 3.

Despite potentially scaring people at first, Kuma is not an overly aggressive bear, only with those he dislikes, or of course, in battles.

In addition to Kuma, a series of other characters are already confirmed for Tekken 8, including Jin Kazama, King, Reina, Raven, Ling Xiaoyu, Shaheen, Marshall Law, Victor Chevalier, and Yoshimitsu.

A demo of the game is already available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Tekken 8 will be released on January 26, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
