Bandai Namco is gearing up for the closed beta test of Tekken 8, set to begin on October 20th. One of the most exciting features players will have the chance to experience is the 'Super Ghost Battle' mode, which was revealed during last month's Tokyo Game Show.
This mode promises to take AI-based fights to a whole new level. The essence of 'Super Ghost Battle' is to use players' data to create extremely accurate "ghosts" that can be fought by anyone.
The idea behind this is to allow players to test their skills against opponents virtually identical to their friends or even professional players, without the need for a real-life meetup.
In a released video, one of the Tekken 8 developers faced a ghost of themselves, showcasing the impressive accuracy of the AI.
The Bandai Namco official website explains that while strolling through the TEKKEN Fight Lounge, you'll be able to launch a Ghost Battle against players through their profile in the same lobby.
