System Shock Remake goes Gold and is ready for release
The console version does not have a release date yet.
Developer Nightdive Studios announced on Tuesday (09) that the System Shock Remake has reached the Gold stage, meaning it is ready to be released on May 30 for PC.
The game has been delayed multiple times, with the latest delay being on March 14, resulting in the current release date of May 30.
The game's remake features improved high-resolution visuals, revamped interfaces, and various other updates. The classic version of the game, which was developed by Looking Glass Studios, inspired games like Bioshock and Dishonored. The title also had a sequel.
Those who purchase the game before its release will receive a free copy of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition.
System Shock will be available on PC on May 30, 2023. The console version does not have a release date yet.
