Super Mario Bros. Wonder receives new trailer ahead of October 20 release
Nintendo has announced a new trailer for the game Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the upcoming 2D title from the iconic Mario franchise. Clocking in at approximately 6 minutes, the trailer provides a detailed look at the gameplay, much of which was already showcased in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct event.

The new adventure will take place in the Flower Kingdom, where the antagonist Bowser kidnaps Prince Florian. The rescue mission falls to Mario and his friends, who will have to traverse 6 distinct worlds to save the character.

Featuring a new local and online multiplayer mode for up to 4 players, the game will introduce new power-ups such as the Elephant Fruit, Bubble Flower, Drill, and Phenomenal Flower, which can completely alter the appearance and elements of the stages for a few seconds.

The classic side-scrolling gameplay of Mario games will be transformed with the introduction of phenomenal flowers. This groundbreaking item will trigger spectacular moments that need to be seen to be believed, including pipes coming to life, the use of its devastating force as a giant spiked ball, and unexpected situations - the phenomenal events.

Players will be able to choose iconic characters from the series, such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, and Toad. Additionally, this time they can use a surprising power-up item to transform into an elephant and use its trunk to defeat enemies.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be released on October 20, with voice acting and Brazilian Portuguese localization, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are now available on the Nintendo eShop.
