Via its social media channels, publisher Square Enix announced that the recently released Final Fantasy XVI has reached the three million copies sold mark, in digital format alone. It's worth noting that the title arrived exclusively for PS5 on June 22, completing just 1 week of "life".
It is worth noting that the title has been very well received by critics, reaching the highest score in several reviews of portals and streamers. And to think that the publisher feared that the game would not be very well accepted, due to the low number of pre-sales.
With release confirmed for PC at some point, Final Fantasy XVI certainly already won a space as one of the nominees for the Game of the Year.
