State of Play brings a flurry of announcements and many upcoming highlights for Playstation and VR 2

Sony presented a new State of Play and brought exciting news for PlayStation 5, PS4, and PlayStation VR2 owners. One of the most notable surprises was the announcement of the expansion for the remake of Resident Evil 4, with a planned release later this month, in September.

The event also had the support of PlayStation Studios, featuring an extensive trailer of over 3 minutes for Spider-Man 2, as well as information about Helldivers 2, which already has a release date, and you can check it out on our list below.

Other highlights included Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord announced for PSVR2, the game Baby Steps confirmed for 2024 on PS5 and PC with a new trailer, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with a gameplay trailer, Ghostrunners 2 with a new gameplay trailer and a playable demo already available, in addition to the Deep Earth collection, which will bring three new colors for Dualsense and PS5 caps.
