Star Wars from Ubisoft may arrive by March 2024

Title is in the hands of Massive Entertainment

Although there isn't much information available yet about the new Star Wars game being developed by Ubisoft, it may be close to release. According to information obtained by the website Kotaku, the company believes that the game could be released by the end of the current fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2024.

However, sources from Kotaku state that Ubisoft is aware that this release projection may be overly ambitious. As a result, it is possible that the game will be delayed to the next fiscal year.

The game is being developed by Massive Entertainment, a subsidiary of Ubisoft also known as Ubisoft Massive, the same studio responsible for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

If the information obtained by Kotaku is correct and the new Star Wars title is in the final stages of development, new information about the game may be revealed soon. One possibility is that the game will be showcased during the Ubisoft Forward event, scheduled for June 12.

Internally titled Project Helix, the new Star Wars game could be the next major release from the company that is not part of the Assassin's Creed franchise.
