Spiritfarer Has A Beautiful Physical Edition Heading To Switch

Vinyl soundtrack and Collector's Edition also on the way.

 

 

 

 

Spiritfarer is undoubtedly one of 2020's finest Indie releases, reaching 500,000 sales as word spread of its qualities. It was a shift in tone for Thunder Lotus Games - after Jotun: Valhalla Edition and Sundered: Eldritch Edition - and it undoubtedly paid off.

 

The developer is now teaming up with iam8bit and Skybound Games to release a physical edition, with pre-orders starting today at 'retailers around the globe' for launch on 27th July. Priced at $34.99/€34.99 (this is $5 more than the PS4 version, to keep you updated on the Switch tax), it'll include "access to a 96-page digital art book, six collectible postcard and sticker stamp sets highlighting exotic locations from the game, and a digital download of the game’s soundtrack, composed by Max LL."

 

 

It's worth noting that iam8bit will also be releasing a 2xLP vinyl soundtrack, along with a 'robust' Collector's Edition, but details on those will come at a later date.
