SMITE's New Goddess, Ishtar, Joins the Pantheon on 23rd August

All's fair in love and war.

Ishtar, the Babylonian goddess of love and war, is making her electrifying debut in SMITE, available on PS4 on 23rd August.


Ishtar is the latest Hunter to join the game and will join the ranks of other ranged specialists like Artemis and Hachiman. Her abilities include imbuing her arrows with lightning, and summoning her deadly Blades of Retribution to deliver the killing blow.


Known for her headstrong personality, and the jealous way in which she guards her followers, Ishtar's symbol of the lion, is well chosen.


Last month we saw the SMITE x Nickelodeon Crossover event, which is one of the more surprising crossovers we can recall seeing.
