Roblox arrives on PlayStation consoles in October
Roblox was originally launched in 2006

The renowned game/platform Roblox is finally making its debut on PlayStation consoles. Already available on PC, Xbox consoles, Android, and iOS, the game will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 sometime in October 2023.

An enhanced version of Roblox is also in development for Xbox, aiming to improve the current experience.

"We're excited to announce that next month, over 150 million PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 console owners will have access to the full catalog of Roblox experiences," the studio said in a statement.

The title will also make its way to the Meta Quest 2 by the end of September, following an open beta with over 1 million downloads.

"Bringing our developers' experiences to these two incredible platforms is a significant step towards making Roblox available on all the most popular devices," the company's statement reads. "And we won't stop there."

The title was not available on PlayStation consoles due to content policies related to a younger audience. Now, with Sony addressing these concerns, the game can reach their consoles.

Roblox is currently available on Xbox One, PC, Android, and iOS. The version for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 arrives in October.
