The action-adventure platformer Rising Dusk, developed by Studio Stobie and published by Shinyuden, is set to release on consoles on December 13. The game has been available for PC since July 26, 2018.
Rising Dusk transports players to a twilight-immersed land inhabited by a variety of spirits known as Yokai. The only way to escape is to avoid each coin.
When young Tamako finds herself trapped in this spectral realm, she must navigate this perilous land to discover the key to return, possibly located on a mysterious mountain on the horizon.
In Rising Dusk, explore over 20 levels, traversing rice fields, castle towns, hot springs, and more. Confront the unique coin-avoidance mechanic, resisting the temptation to collect everything.
The art style combines 16-bit elements with Studio Ghibli, featuring ghosts and demons inspired by Japanese mythology. Discover hidden items, secret exits, and a variety of secrets and easter eggs throughout the game.
