Quantum Error is no longer PlayStation exclusive, now confirmed for Xbox Series X

TeamKill Media has announced that Quantum Error is coming to Xbox Series X, alongside its previously announced PS4 and PS5 editions. While the sci-fi horror title was initially a PlayStation exclusive, it appears that this is no longer the case.

Showcased during The Future Games Show, and later at gamescom 2020, Quantum Error sees a small rescue team dispatched to the mysterious Monad Quantum Research Facility, a clandestine operation located off-shore in California. Responding to a distress signal that a raging fire has broken out, team leader Capt. Jacob Thomas arrives to lead a search-and-rescue operation of the site. But it quickly becomes apparent that this is no standard operation, and most definitely no standard research facility.

"To all our fans and fellow gamers, we did not announce for the PS5 and not Xbox as any type of marketing trick," said TeamKill on Twitter. "Our first game came out only on PlayStation and not Xbox, due to performance issues. We have been very honest on all of our development and with so many requests following gamescom and the future games show wanting to play on next gen Xbox we moved to get approval to make that happen. This announcement and move is to allow more players to experience Quantum Error."

Quantum Error is currently in development for PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
