PS5 Screenshot, Video Captures Being Slowly Integrated into the PS App Worldwide

Sony is slowly rolling out functionality it had previously promised, allowing you to access the videos and screenshots you capture on the PlayStation 5 using the Create button in the PS App on your smartphone. Enter your Media Gallery on your console and you may be prompted to enable Auto-Upload, depending on where you live.


Anecdotally we’ve read reports of this in the United States and Germany, but are yet to obtain access ourselves in the UK. The functionality soft-launched in Japan and Canada last year, so Sony’s been testing it for a while. Once setup, all your screenshots and videos of up to three minutes will be uploaded and accessible within the PS App for up to 14 days.


That means that you’ll no longer need to upload them to Twitter or other social networks in order to download them to your phone, which is a positive improvement. Have you got access to the feature yet? Are you happy with the functionality?
