Niantic has announced that its games will not be downloadable in Russia and Belarus for the foreseeable future. Niantic is the latest video game company to take a stand and pledge its support to Ukraine after Russia's invasion.
We stand with the global community in hoping for peace and a rapid resolution to the violence and suffering in Ukraine. Niantic’s games are no longer available for download in Russia and Belarus, and gameplay will also be suspended there shortly.

Niantic, known for creating Pokémon GO and Pikmin Bloom, has also stated that they will be suspending gameplay in the two countries imminently.
The studio has made its stance clear before, as last week they donated $200,000 to humanitarian organisations that are supporting the people of Ukraine. Their staff raised a further $75,000 worth of donations.
This move follows the news yesterday that Nintendo would be stopping exports to Russia with immediate effect, following the company's decision to suspend eShop payments in the country.
