PC Game Pass comes to 40 new countries

Service expansion occurs shortly after the announcement of a new partnership

The Game Pass plan aimed at PCs was expanded to 40 more countries this Tuesday (11). The extension reaches countries in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

The expansion takes place before releases like Minecraft Legends, Redfall and Starfield, which come directly to Microsoft's service.

These 40 new countries that have received service support represent a major step forward for PC Game Pass, which gives access to hundreds of PC games, including releases from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, as well as titles included in the EA Play subscription and exclusive benefits for games by Riot Games.

Coincidentally, Microsoft's announcement followed a new partnership with UK mobile operator EE. The partnership aims to bring the service's games to the operator's customers. The partnership period is 10 years.
