Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Mobius Digital announced during the latest Indie World Showcase that Outer Wilds will receive a version for Nintendo Switch on December 7. The physical version will be released in 2024.

Outer Wilds is already available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Outer Wilds is an award-winning open-world mystery game that won Best Game at the 2020 BAFTA Games Awards and was nominated for Game of the Year in 2019 by various sources. The narrative involves a solar system trapped in an infinite time loop.

This open-world mystery game leads players to join the Outer Wilds Ventures space program, exploring an ever-evolving solar system. By facing mysteries such as Dark Bramble, alien ruins, and an infinite time loop, players uncover secrets on planets with locations that change over time, facing hazardous environments.

With intergalactic hiking gear, players explore, track signals, decipher alien writings, and experience a unique journey.

Outer Wilds is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game arrives on Nintendo Switch on December 7.
