OddWorld: Soulstorm - Oddtimized Edition Announced For Switch

Publisher Microids has announced that Oddworld: Soulstorm will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, with retail editions available to pre-order now.


Dubbed the 'Oddtimized Edition', the game will apparently be "optimized for Nintendo Switch to take advantage of the platform’s unique features", with Microids promising the port will feature all the gameplay features from its release on other platforms.


No firm release date has been set at the time of writing, but you've got a nice choice of physical packages, depending on your affinity for the Oddworld franchise. First up, we've got the 'Limited Oddition', which will feature the game in a metallic case along with 3 lovely art cards. For the hardcore fans, however, the 'Collector's Oddition' will surely get those saliva glands working overtime, and will include the following:
 

• A Unique Collector’s Box
• Oddworld: Soulstorm’s standard edition for Nintendo Switch
• A collectible metal case with 24 cartridge slots
• An exclusive 9-inch (22 cm) silver figurine of Abe, Mudokon hero
