Nintendo Has Nothing To Share About Metroid Prime 3, Bayonetta 3 And Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now

C'mon, Doug - give us an update!

Nintendo and its partners have a lot of exciting games in development at the moment, the problem is, we don't really know anything about them or the status of each project. The most anticipated titles include Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.

For a few years now, Hideki Kamiya has been telling us how Bayonetta's third outing is doing just fine, and when it comes to Metroid Prime 4, we've been getting regular updates about the project via job listings on Nintendo's website. In terms of Breath of the Wild 2, there's been a first-look trailer and not much else.

Could Nintendo of America's president Doug Bowser perhaps tell us a little more about these upcoming projects then? It seems not. In the same interview with Polygon, he was asked about the current status of these titles and in classic Nintendo fashion, has nothing to share right now. When they're ready to be revealed, they will be. We guess that's some sort of an update...

Here's the full exchange:

Polygon: I realize there’s very little you could probably say about these titles, but there have been a few titles that have essentially gone super radio silent. I wanted to see if there’s anything you can share regarding their status. Specifically: Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.

Doug Bowser: You’ve followed Nintendo long enough to know that as we progress on any title, and we deem it’s the right moment, we will share with the community where we are in the development. At this point, though, I have nothing more that I can share on those titles.
