The iconic Call of Duty map Rust will be included in the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III beta, scheduled for October. The Rust map was revealed through the official Call of Duty account on X.

The Rust map will be detailed during the COD Next event, which will take place one day before the first beta weekend of Modern Warfare III.

The first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III beta will occur on October 6th and 7th for PlayStation users who have pre-ordered the game. Subsequently, the beta will be open to all PlayStation users on October 8th and 9th, followed by a second beta weekend for all platforms from October 12th to 16th.

In addition to Rust, Activision has already confirmed that all 16 launch maps of Modern Warfare III will be remastered multiplayer maps from the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Other maps will also be added throughout the game's life cycle, likely as part of new season updates.

Modern Warfare III will be the first Call of Duty game to feature the new "carry forward" feature, allowing players to transfer their operators, weapons, and other cosmetic items from Modern Warfare 2 to MWIII. This will also apply to Call of Duty: Warzone, which will be fully integrated into MWIII when the first season is released.

The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is scheduled for November 10, 2023, and will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
