The night ride is over
Techland has announced a new update for Dying Light 2, "Good Night, Good Luck" which brings new features and improvements to the game, along with this phrase that references the first game.
Now the in-game night is even dangerous, with the feared volatiles roaming the map, instead of only appearing in specific locations or during higher levels of pursuits. Additionally, the night is truly darker, making it more difficult for the player to see.
The update also introduces improvements to the game's parkour and enhances control while in the air. Another highlight is the color grading that provides a new look to scenes such as sunsets.
The "Good Night, Good Luck" update is free and arrived this Thursday (29th).
The Bloody Nights event was also announced, running from June 29 to July 13, which makes the nights even more tense but offers a series of rewards to the player.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Game Store. The Nintendo Switch version via cloud streaming will be released at a later date.
