Great news for fans of the marsupial
In a recent interview with the website VGC, Dan Neil, the creative director of Crash Team Rumble, stated that Activision Blizzard intends to continue the character's legacy and release more games and additional content for the company's mascot.
According to Dan, the publisher fully supports developers in creating games with different styles for their franchises, constantly innovating and diversifying their target audience. The recent Crash Team Rumble itself is a perfect example of this.
There's no doubt that the marsupial has returned to stay, and we are grateful for that.

It is worth noting that the studio Toys for Bob was largely responsible for bringing Crash Bandicoot back into the spotlight with the classic trilogy, which was released for consoles other than PlayStation for the first time. Not only that, the content was so successful that the fourth game in the series, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, which had been highly anticipated by many, finally saw the light of day and was a huge success. We should also mention the racing games and even cosmetic items in games like Call of Duty and Tony Hawk."Obviously, there is a passion and an ethical vision in the games that Toys For Bob has shown to be excellent at producing over the decades. But it's not just about what we are passionate about, it's that Activision supports us and they continue to want to invest in new titles for this franchise. They also believe that we can do new and exciting things."
There's no doubt that the marsupial has returned to stay, and we are grateful for that.
