New characters are announced with the next Genshin Impact update

Update 3.6 arrives on April 12
Studio HoYoverse has announced that the next Genshin Impact update will bring two new characters, in addition to the Academic Extravaganza event, a new wasteland area, and much more.
Arriving from April 12th, the characters Baizhu and Kaveh have different abilities and promise to add a lot to the scope of the game.
Baizhu is described as a good doctor, with the power of Dendro, which as you can imagine has the healing power for his team, in addition to being able to command wandering spirits. Kaveh is an architect, bringing with him the power of four stars. His main ability is to activate all Dendro Cores, exploding them as enemies approach an area.
The Academic Extravaganza event will be able to reveal to players more about the Sumeru Academy. Within the event, the Fair of Wisdom and the Interdarshan Championship offer six mini-games, each designed by one of the six Darshans to showcase their research focuses and achievements.
The new area of the game is made up of a landscape with Gray Crystals and corrupting Purple Mists, in which the great battles of the disaster of Khaenri'ah took place, 500 years ago.
Genshin Impact is available for free on Android, iOS, PC, PS4 and PS5.
