Neowiz invests $17 million in Blank Game Studios to boost AAA game development

South Korean game company Neowiz has announced a significant investment of $17 million in the Polish developer Blank Game Studios, acquiring a 21% stake in the company.
Founded by Mateusz Kanik, Mikołaj Marchewka, Jędrzej Mróz, and Marcin Jefimow, Blank Game Studios has a core development team primarily composed of former CD Projekt Red members, including professionals who played key roles in the development of notable titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.
Mateusz Kanik, former game director of Cyberpunk 2077, and Mikołaj Marchewka, former CEO of Rookiez from Warsaw, are integral parts of the Blank Game Studios team, along with other standout talents.
