MultiVersus: New Tutorial, rewards and updates on the battle pass are revealed
The development team of MultiVersus brought great news for players. The game's new tutorial now offers a seven-day reward calendar, allowing players to unlock a new character, the Banana Guard from Adventure Time, for free at launch.
In addition, completing all days of the calendar also unlocks the variant Lady Banana Guard. Players returning from the Open Beta will receive the Season 1 premium Battle Pass for free when logging in until June 11.
The first reward of this pass is the character Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th. Additionally, players returning to MultiVersus at any time will receive a special edition of the variant Snow Suit Finn, a special edition of Rising Stars, and a Banana Guard ad pack.
The Battle Pass has been enhanced to be more fun and rewarding. Now, it includes more high-value items in both the free and premium levels, such as ringouts, character variants, taunts, and coins.
Players will also be able to earn Gleamium, the game's premium currency, through both levels, allowing for the purchase of new characters or the next Premium Battle Pass. Some important changes will occur in the game's currencies.
The Fighter currency will be used to obtain new fighters, while the Perk currency will allow unlocking specific advantages. Additionally, a new Prestige currency will reward players for acquiring cosmetic items. Coins like Gold will be replaced by exclusive commemorative cosmetics.
The Perks system has also been updated. Some old advantages have been removed, others revamped, and new advantages added to enhance the gaming experience. All advantages from the Open Beta will be reset, allowing players to choose the best options for their playstyle.
The mastery tracks of characters and accounts will be reset to level 1 at launch, giving all players a fresh chance to earn rewards. These tracks offer short and long-term objectives for players, encouraging continuous progress.
