Teaser is short and seems to tie into the ending of the previous game.
In a video celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Mortal Kombat franchise, in which several people involved in the production of one of the biggest names in fighting games thank the public, a small teaser is revealed at the end and everything indicates that it is about Mortal Kombat 12.
The teaser appears after Ed Boon's line "we're not done yet" and features something like grains of sand falling into an hourglass, until one of them comes to light and explodes. If you've played Mortal Kombat 11, you know what that hourglass thing means.
The video doesn't go beyond that, but it does imply that the events of the last game will still have consequences.
Now it remains to wait for news from NetherRealm Studios, which released Mortal Kombat 11 in 2019, the expectation was to have an Injustice 3, since the company usually merges the two games, as we can see below, but it seems that will not be the case.
