Players will receive two new seasonal fatalities
Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have decided that players who purchased the Halloween-themed fatality in Mortal Kombat 1, which controversially cost $10 (around R$ 50), will receive two additional seasonal fatalities.
The creators of the game faced strong criticism for selling the fatality at a relatively high cost and will now release the Seasonal Fatalities pack next week, including the Halloween fatality, one for Thanksgiving, and another for winter. The pack's price hasn't been announced yet, but those who bought the controversial fatality will receive the two new ones.
Nevertheless, the system of selling fatalities is heavily contested by players, especially considering that Dragon Crystals (a kind of in-game currency) often need to be purchased by players, enabling them to buy content in the game.
Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
