Mortal Kombat 1 receives launch trailer
Reiko is confirmed for the roster of fighters

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios released the launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 on Tuesday (12).

In addition to more scenes from the game and some snippets of gameplay, the character Reiko has finally been officially confirmed. Reiko was last seen as a playable character in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.

You can also catch a glimpse of Shang Tsung's gameplay, showcasing his abilities and one of his fatalities. He is a pre-order bonus and is undoubtedly a highly anticipated character. Another appearance is Kronika's, but only in a story snippet, directing her dialogue towards Shang Tsung himself.

In addition to the characters, the trailer provides a glimpse of the Invasion Mode, the Krypt, and even the Test Your Might minigame.

Explore a new Mortal Kombat universe forged by Liu Kang, the God of Fire. Mortal Kombat 1 marks the beginning of a new era for this iconic franchise, introducing a revamped combat system, innovative game modes, and insane fatalities!

Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Those who purchased the Premium Edition or Collector's Edition will have early access starting from September 14.
