What do Mike Wazowski, Celia Mae, and Randall have in common? Well, yes, they’re all Monsters Inc characters – but they’ll also be playable in Gameloft’s Mario Kart rival Disney Speedstorm for PS5 and PS4! Announced during a livestream over the weekend, the friendly-yet-feared newcomers will be accompanied by a track named the Factory, inspired by the films.
Unfortunately, there’s still no release date attached to the racer, which will be free-to-play once it eventually hits the starting line. Do you have high hopes for this game at all? Can PlayStation finally find a compelling alternative to Mario Kart?
