The studio will focus on AAA games

After leaving the mighty Activision Blizzard, senior developers Jen Oneal, J. Allen Brack and John Donham announce the formation of Magic Soup Games studio.

According to Oneal, CEO of the studio, the new studio will focus on creating original, unique and immersive experiences for all types of gamers, thanks to their years of experience in the games industry.

"J, John and I have similar ideas about the kind of games we want to make and we align strongly with the company's goals and principles, so it was a natural step for us. The quality of our games will be a reflection of our team culture. We're doing everything we can to make sure we encourage creativity, remote collaboration and diversity of environments.''

In addition to a number of productions, the trio has worked with industry giants such as World of Warcraft, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, EverQuest, Diablo and Skylanders.

It's worth noting that J. Allen Brack is a former president of the company, leaving that role in mid-2021 to pursue new professional challenges. He was also one of the few executives not named by female employees in the company's sexual harassment scandal.

We'll be watching Magic Soup Games' first steps closely.
