Paradox Interactive's new simulation game, Life by You, received an announcement trailer this week. The video shows a little bit of what the title should offer players.
Announced for early March, the game gets a trailer that highlights some things like an open world, life simulation, free exploration, real conversations, world customization and more.
Despite the similarities to The Sims, Life by You seems to want to go further in some aspects, such as the open world and the expanded ability to customize various things in the game.
"Customize your people, your houses, and your vehicles. Create your own styles, write your own dialogues and explore a world you've created," the game description reads.
According to the studio, the game will be completely open to the use of mods and community creations.
Early Access in September
Life by You will initially be released via Steam's Early Access and the Epic Games Store.
The title will be published by Paradox Tectonic Studio, founded in 2019 and led by Rod Humble, who is one of the creators of Second Life and was in charge of The Sims studios during his time at Electronic Arts.
Life by You will be released in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 12, 2023.
