Through their official Twitter account, publisher 2K Games has finally announced what every basketball fan has known for a long time, that the late and legendary shooting guard of the Los Angeles Lakers and the American "Dream Team," Kobe Bryant, is the cover athlete for the highly anticipated NBA 2K 24.
Featuring the Kobe Bryant Edition and Black Mamba Edition, the content is yet to be revealed, but fans can expect in-game currency, special cards, and of course, the eternal number 8, later 24, in their roster of selectable superstars.
Kobe is considered by many as one of the greatest players of all time, not only for his talent but also for his championship mentality, which is evident in his resume with five national championships, Olympic gold medalist, and 18 All-Star Game appearances.
Unfortunately, Kobe Bryant left us after a tragic helicopter accident that also claimed the life of his eldest daughter, Gigi, and seven other individuals.
