Kingdom Eighties is announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch

The game was revealed at The MIX Direct Spring 2023 Showcase

Get ready to go back to the days of playing with your neighborhood friends in Kingdom Eighties, revealed by publisher Raw Fury at The MIX Direct Spring 2023 Showcase.

With a touch of E.T. and Stranger Things, the game has a nostalgic feel and will place you in the role of a camp guide to protect the town from the attacks of a mysterious entity called Greed. Along with the neighborhood and making new friends on this journey, you'll have to defend your home at all costs.

According to Raw Fury, Kingdom Eighties "is a nostalgic love letter to the days of playing games, camping, bike rides with friends, and sleepovers watching your favorite cartoons."

• A Kingdom game for everyone: Kingdom Eighties adds a new storytelling approach based on the franchise's well-known mechanics. Recruit your neighborhood friends and assign them roles as builders or soldiers, and expand your territory as you uncover the secrets of your lineage, the mysterious entity Greed, and the Crown of Creation;
• Together we are stronger: You don't have to go it alone in this tale of four unlikely heroes and their friendship. The Champion, the Repairer and the Wizard will join you and give you a variety of unique strategies and abilities to aid you in battle;
• Walk the streets in style: Travel to locations never before seen in a Kingdom game, created with the series' distinctive pixel art magic. Find new wheels in the skate park, visit the shops on Main Street and rid the New Lands Mall of Greed's evil machines.

Kingdom Eighties will arrive later in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
