IO Interactive Istanbul is inaugurated and will have great responsibilities

New studio, new world, new IP
With intentions to increase its scope of games, IO Interactive announced that it is opening a new studio in Turkey, in the region of Maslak Sariyer, Istanbul.
According to the official pronouncement, the objective is to establish a center for the development of AAA games in the region and create unique gaming experiences for players around the world.
To kick things off, the contracted developers will be responsible for a project involving Agent 007, a new fantasy RPG, as well as Assassin 47's next adventure, Hitman.
The region was chosen due to the fact that the city offers a strong cultural presence, historic architecture, amazing views of the Bosphorus and vibrant and varied culture. Not only that, but it has been identified by IO Interactive that Turkish people are fiercely passionate, development-focused and technically creative.
IO Interactive was first established in Copenhagen in 1998 and opened a second studio in Malmo, Sweden in 2019.
