Renowned game creator Hideo Kojima posted a note about his projects for the new year through his X account. The highlight was the anticipated sequel to the 2019 "strand game", Death Stranding 2.

Kojima revealed that the game still requires some post-production steps, specifically ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement). This common process in the film industry involves re-recording dialogue lines to enhance audio quality or adjust the original content. Additionally, the Japanese director announced that recording for the Japanese voiceover for Death Stranding 2 will commence in 2024.

Simultaneously, Kojima's studio will continue to work diligently on OD, the exclusive Xbox cloud game recently unveiled at The Game Awards. In addition to game projects, Kojima is involved in various initiatives, including the film adaptation of Death Stranding in collaboration with A24 and Hammerstone Productions.

His commitments will lead him to travel for OD-related shoots, collaborations with Avengers, and the transformation of Death Stranding into a film. Furthermore, the Japanese master plans to launch a new script series, not limiting himself to the main project.

The multifaceted Kojima also shared plans to revive special programs such as 'HideTube' and even resurrect "Hide Radio". While the director is eager for this Year of the Dragon, he acknowledges that it will be a challenging year due to the intense work schedule.

Despite the excitement, fans will have to wait a bit longer to experience Death Stranding 2. Rumors point to a release in 2025, as speculations suggest.
