Gran Turismo 7 on PSVR2 Is the Full Game, Except for Split-Screen Play
All cars and tracks supported in VR.
As part of a PlayStation Blog post further detailing the PSVR2 launch lineup, Sony has now confirmed the free upgrade for Gran Turismo 7 will allow you to play the full game in virtual reality. The only feature you won't be able to access whilst using PSVR2 is the two-player split-screen option, which makes sense. Besides that, "players will experience all cars and tracks in VR like never before". This includes online races too.
Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi then details how Gran Turismo 7 will take advantage of PSVR2, with players having eye tracking and foveated rendering to look forward to. The free update for current PS5 owners arrives on launch day, 22nd February 2023. Will you return to the track for Gran Turismo 7 in VR?
