Ghostwire Tokyo: PC Version Adds Denuvo System to Game

Redfall version will also feature the system

Recently, Tango Gameworks studio announced the first free expansion of Ghostwire Tokyo (Spider's Wire), celebrating the game's arrival on Xbox Series X|S, playable through the Xbox Game Pass library. But the good news stops there, as it has been confirmed that the PC version, after a little over a year of its official launch, now has the Denuvo protection system.

For those who don't know, the system works as a kind of anti-piracy protection, displaying error messages, in case MSConfig keeps changing cores several times. But the biggest concern for PC players is that the software is also known to lower the game's frame rates per second, thus severely impairing its performance.

Already leaving players warned at once, Tango studio has also reported that Redfall will have the same system. It is worth remembering that the game has already been severely criticized by the community when it was revealed that the game will only run at 30FPS on the Xbox Series X.

Ghostwire Tokyo is available for PC, Xbox Series S|X and Playstation 5.
