Publisher 505 Games and developer One More Level revealed Ghostrunner II during the PlayStation Showcase, held on Wednesday (23). The game is the sequel to the title released in 2020.
The game combines action and platforming elements with a cyberpunk vibe from the first game. Something very interesting seen in the trailer is the motorcycle used by the protagonist, which can add an extra element to the gameplay.
Ghostrunner II takes place one year after the events of the first title, which is expected to expand the environments beyond the Dharma Tower. The game will also feature a central hub for you to use between missions and a new dialogue system when interacting with NPCs.
The protagonist will have a series of new abilities, including some focused on defense and a disguise mechanic, allowing you to play in different ways.
Ghostrunner II will be released at some point in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
