Forspoken PS5 Demo to Be Updated with New Features, Bug Fixes

Apparently patch is coming today.

A now-deleted Twitter post has revealed the PS5 demo for Forspoken will soon be updated with new features and fixes for bugs and glitches. Caught by ResetEra, the patch will apparently include button mapping functionality, tweaks to the lock-on system, adjustments to text size, and then fixes "various technical issues". It's claimed the update will go live on PS5 later today.

The PS5 console exclusive has received a bit of a mixed reception since being uploaded to the PS Store, with some praising it and others taking issue with some factors. The game's out next week on 24th January 2023, so the demo must be close to the final build once it's been patched. We were pretty positive about the game following a preview event late last year, with our impressions pitching it as a more magical version of inFAMOUS.
