First Free Play at Home Game Available Now on PS4

As announced last week, Sony is bringing back its Play At Home initiative for a second year, as the world continues to grapple with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The platform holder has promised to expand the promotion this time, but it’s getting things started with Ratchet & Clank – the extremely enjoyable Insomniac Games remake which first launched in 2016.

This is available to download now. To clarify: you don’t need to be a PlayStation Plus member or PlayStation Now subscriber – anyone with an active PlayStation Network account is eligible to add the game to their library. Moreover, once you’ve redeemed it, the game will be yours to keep forever – your access won’t be revoked.

The release will be available for free until 31st March, so you’ve got all month to claim it – but why wait? You may as well do it now before you forget.
