F2P Squad Shooter Gundam Evolution Out Now on PS5, PS4

Suit up.

Gundam Evolution, a six-on-six shooter that's always being compared to Overwatch, has landed on PS5 and PS4 following a fairly successful early access stint on PC. As the name suggests, this team-based blast-'em-up is based on Gundam, with playable mobile suits acting as the game's 'heroes'. Each suit has its own weapons and abilities.

Anyway, Gundam Evolution is free-to-play, if you want to give it a go. There are microtransactions, as you'd expect, but it's all cosmetic skins and the like, as far as we're aware. The title has been reasonably well received on PC, and with continued support, it could be a shooter to watch out for.
