Unable to include the World Cup in its games, EA Sports is seeking new opportunities to explore football tournaments. Thus, the developer has partnered with UEFA, and Euro 2024 will be the highlight in EA Sports FC.

The company announced that the prestigious European national teams' tournament will be added to the game through a free update scheduled for mid-2024. This addition will be available on all platforms supporting the game, including PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

The confirmation of the participation of the 24 teams in Euro 2024 is nearly complete, awaiting only the draw for the final phase, which will take place in Hamburg on December 2.

To celebrate the partnership, EA Sports will offer EA Sports FC 24 players six player items from the UEFA Euro 2024 Ultimate Team, distributed from December 18 and available to those who play until January 16.

The players receiving exclusive items are: Jack Grealish (England), Ousmane Dembélé (France), Federico Chiesa (Italy), Florian Wirtz (Germany), Virgil Van Dijk (Netherlands), and Álvaro Morata (Spain).

Furthermore, EA Sports FC 24 will take the opportunity to launch a new eSports program in partnership with UEFA, titled "eEURO". This virtual tournament will bring together the best virtual football players in a simulation of Euro 2024.

While more details about the tournament structure are awaited, the expectation is that it will become a tradition in virtual fields, happening annually in parallel with the real tournament.
