Despot's Game Tasks You, Puny Human, with Building a Dystopian Army

Despot's Game: Dystopian Army Builder is a roguelike with automatic battles, procedurally generated levels and a cool pixel art style. It's coming to PS5 and PS4 on 15th September.


Tactics and strategy are at the core of Despot's Game's combat. The placement of each unit, and which classes to take, will be the deciding factor in each encounter. The aim of the game here is to lead your small but plucky force to freedom from deep within the bowels of a mysterious dungeon.


And if you can fight your way out, past the various climactic boss encounters, then other players end game builds will await, in the ultimate test of your army composition. It's a cool and fairly unique-looking game (at least on console), and one we have our eye on as a refreshing change of pace.
