Check out the improvements and new features coming to The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PS5

PlayStation has officially announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered, an enhanced version of the game for PS5. This version brings a host of graphical improvements, including 4K resolution in Fidelity Mode, faster loading times, and full integration with the DualSense wireless controller.

Additionally, a new roguelike survival mode called No Return will be added.

• 4K Visual Performance: In Fidelity Mode, the game achieves a 4K resolution, providing an enhanced visual experience.
• Improved Loading Times: The update includes faster loading times, ensuring a smoother transition between scenes and action.
• DualSense Integration: The remaster offers full integration with the DualSense wireless controller, leveraging its advanced features.
• No Return - Roguelike Survival Mode: A new roguelike survival mode that offers a challenging experience and new ways to play.
• Lost Levels: Allows you to explore early versions of three new levels not seen in the original game.
• Developer Commentaries: Hours of commentary from new developers provide insights into the game's development.
• Guitar Free Play: A new musical mode that allows you to explore your musical potential.
• Speedrun Mode: Challenge yourself to achieve the best times in a new Speedrun Mode.
• Accessibility Enhancements: Descriptive Audio and Speech to Haptic features have been added to accessibility features.
• New Skins and Unlockables: Addition of new character skins and unlockable weapons for Ellie and Abby.

The remaster will be available for pre-order starting from December 5, 2023, with a planned release on January 19, 2024. For those who already own the game on PS4, an upgrade path will be offered for the PS5 version.

A special edition, "The Last of Us Part II Remastered W.L.F. Edition", will also be available with exclusive collectible items.
