Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Receives Campaign Gameplay

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has received nine minutes of campaign gameplay during Gamescom 2023's Opening Night Live. The gameplay showcases the beginning of the campaign, set in the Verdansk prison.
The title is a direct sequel to Modern Warfare II and will feature all 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 released in 2009, now modernized with new modes and gameplay features. Over 12 main 6v6 maps will be released in seasons following the initial game launch.
It has also been confirmed that a new Zombie mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, called Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ), will be open-world. With the franchise's largest Zombie map to date, a new zombie story with missions, basic zombie features, and secrets to uncover is coming.
According to Activision, the multiplayer mode will be showcased on October 5th during the Call of Duty Next event. The game's beta will commence on October 6th.
