Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Campaign Looks Like a Playable Movie on PS5, PS4
Pass the Soap.
To be honest, we’ve got a soft spot for the classic Call of Duty campaign formula. The set-piece laden single player narratives may be getting a bit long in the tooth, but in this world of gigantic open world games, they’re one of the few places you can get a solid five-to-six hours of corridor combat. We must admit, too, this trailer for Modern Warfare 2 is looking extraordinary.
The cinematic cutscenes in particular border on photorealism, and we’re enjoying all of the different locales and backdrops. Remember, if pre-order the game on the PS Store, then you’ll be eligible to enjoy the single player a week prior to the title’s official release, which is pretty neat for such an online-focused franchise.
