Big PS Store Days of Play Sale Begins This Wednesday

Deals galore.

Sony is sending out emails confirming its huge Days of Play promotion will return this Wednesday and run through until 8th June 2022. Traditionally, this means a long list of discounts are on their way for PS5 and PS4 games — physically in retail and online outlets and digitally on the PS Store — as well as PS Plus deals and cheap accessories.


It will be interesting to see how the company handles any PS Plus discounts this year since new tiers PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium are, of course, right around the corner. Last year, big PS5 games like Demon's Souls, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and The Nioh Collection all temporarily dropped in price. Perhaps the likes of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, and Gran Turismo 7 will join them for the 2022 edition.


The sales are also usually coupled with community challenges rewarding PSN avatars and themes. What PS5, PS4 games do you hope to buy on the cheap this year?
