Rare's iconic duo return.
Xbox isn't the only one that has some exciting announcements to share this week. Nintendo (with the cooperation of Rare and Microsoft, we guess...) has just locked in a release date for the Switch Online version of Banjo-Kazooie.
While we've known the classic 3D platformer was coming to Nintendo's Switch Online service since last year, Nintendo has now confirmed it will be arriving tomorrow on 20th January for all 'Expansion Pack' subscribers.

Ahead of the N64 game's return, Nintendo has uploaded the trailer to its YouTube channel - giving fans an idea of what it will look like running on the Switch. While it's not necessarily the biggest news related to Microsoft today, we're sure many Nintendo fans are looking forward to reuniting with Rare's famous bird and bear duo, who were all the rage during the N64 generation.
Will you be revisiting Banjo-Kazooie via Nintendo's Switch Online service?
