Asuka and Leroy confirmed for Tekken 8 in gameplay trailers

Bandai Namco's release of characters for Tekken 8 has been growing, coming with new revelations this week with two videos.
Bandai Namco decided to really please the fans that followed the big tournament, presenting gameplay trailers, confirming the presence of Asuka Kazama and Leroy Smith.
These trailers show off the popular characters' new looks and move sets, and it's evident that both have seen some nice changes from Tekken 7.
Asuke Kazama as the name itself says, Master Kazama's daughter, arrives in the new trailer with her customized school sweater showing all the sweetness of her brutality. Asuka received training in Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts from her father, which helped her develop a strong sense of justice at an early age. In Osaka, she was recognized for her ability to break up fights and keep the peace in the neighborhood. However, her life changed drastically when she entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, with the goal of avenging her father's death. Since then, Asuka has never been able to return to her normal life. The situation forced her to follow a path filled with constant struggles and challenges.
Leroy is the first character to represent the Wing Chun fighting style in a fighting game. Leroy's fighting style is deeply rooted in the tradition of Wing Chun master Ip Man. Furthermore, he is the first original character to be introduced in the game or the series as a whole, with Fahkumram following in his footsteps later on.
Leroy's story shares some similarities with that of Bruce Irvin, another African-American fighter who lost his family to criminal activity and found refuge in the martial arts.
Tekken 8 will be exclusive to next-gen computers and consoles and will have its release date announced soon for PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
