Assassin's Creed Valhalla Forgotten Saga Trophies Confirm a Meaty Free DLC

Nine new Trophies to unlock.

A new Trophy list for Assassin's Creed Valhalla has popped up on PlayStation servers, coinciding with the release of the game's Forgotten Saga DLC. Said DLC will arrive as a free update on the 2nd August (that's tomorrow at the time of writing!) and offers a whole new adventure that sees Odin invade the realms of the dead.


The Forgotten Saga is something of a rogue-lite experience, where you'll have to fight randomised enemy hordes, loot increasingly powerful equipment, and take down dangerous-looking bosses. Dying will send you back to the beginning of Odin's journey, but you'll be able to retain certain aspects from your previous run in order to make things progressively easier.


This DLC has always sounded quite impressive in terms of scope, and the Trophies support that theory. There are nine trinkets in all --- four silver and five bronze — and they task you with fulfilling various challenges as you cause chaos throughout Niflheim. Again, The Forgotten Saga is releasing as a free update. You don't need to own any of Valhalla's paid expansions to access it — you just need the base game.
